Michael is an expert at navigating the ever-evolving technology markets. He leverages these rich insights as the architect of ElectrifAi’s product strategy. In addition to growing and scaling our product portfolio, the intrapreneur is instrumental to fostering co-development relationships with ElectrifAi’s customers and partners. A key driver of innovation and disruption, this approach ensures our products solve practical, high-value problems for enterprise businesses.
Michael began his career as a hands-on technologist before transcending into the business of technology. Along the way, he has done it all: overseen product portfolios with more than $300 million annual revenue, built high-performance global teams, led successful joint ventures, and developed both consulting and software products for IT transformation. Before joining ElectrifAi, Michael served as Director of Product Management at Intralinks. In the role, he oversaw innovation programs for mergers and acquisitions software that utilized advanced analytics and AI. As Director of Product Management for Synchronoss’ Enterprise Business Unit, Michael led the team responsible for launching new functions within the company’s enterprise mobility and enterprise identity software segments. Michael’s experience also includes a variety of product management and technical roles at EMC and the startups Atomic Data and IV Desk. Earlier in his career, he founded a mobility startup and built its beta solution utilizing cloud infrastructure.
A seasoned speaker and author, Michael is a respected voice on technology markets, product management and the intersections of disruption and innovation. His recent speaking engagements include a keynote on AI for mergers and acquisitions in Munich, Germany; a panel discussion on ethics in AI and data at Tufts University; a keynote on product management and innovation at MIT; and panel discussions at CIO NYC 2019 and IBM Think 2019. Early in his career, Michael spoke frequently at technical conferences on topics such as virtualization, and cloud and end-user computing.
Michael earned both an M.B.A. and M.S. in Finance from Northeastern University and a B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota. He is the author of Demystifying the Virtual Desktop: Starting With Desktop Virtualization.
