Lead Engineer, Software wanted by ElectrifAi, LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Utilize company’s proprietary big data analytics tool, signal hub to generate insights for clients to devise better business strategies and vendor contract negotiations. Automate large-scale and complex workflows using stored procedures in oracle PL/SQL to handle large volumes of client data for quick and efficient reporting. Leadership, team dynamics & collaboration: manage a team of developers to handle data integration, processing and reporting for various payment modules for client in the healthcare sector to help reconcile payments, manage subsidies and reporting of issuer data for advanced analytics. Develop architecture, design, and requirements documents. Create client-ready documents and presentations. Onboard new, complex tasks and technologies with limited support. Create and enhance internal processes based on new learnings. Be involved in brainstorming of solutions and outlining the scope of discussion for development and enhancements of modules. Support and mentor team members as needed in their training in terms of topic, content and approach and on relevant tools and technologies within the organization. Engage in brainstorming and knowledge sharing with others. Support and coach junior-level team members. Delivery excellence: optimize and automate development and production support activities within the team by constantly improving error handling and logging/reporting capabilities. Monitor status of multiple project module tasks and update stakeholders on key deliverables and risks. Proactively work with team members to align on approach and quickly escalate concerns where interdependencies exist. Support management negotiation with clients and offer alternatives or push-back on un-desired functionality. Identify knowledge gaps among teammates and help bridge that gap. Customer service and support. Work with business teams to understand and troubleshoot issues and explaining issue root cause, resolution and workarounds once a solution is reached.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of progressive relevant experience or a relevant Master’s degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience. Must also have 2 years of experience in high proficiency in Java or Python and object-oriented programming; 2 years of knowledge and experience in data warehouse and OLAP data technologies; 2 years of experience in databases and OLTP environment; 2 years of experience in data integration using ETL tools; 2 years of experience with Linux/Unix operating systems shell scripts development; 2 years of experience with scheduling tools (Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Autosys or Control M.); 2 years of experience with Hadoop and MapReduce programming model; and any amount of experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle and agile development methodology including requirement capturing, task tracking, bug tracking and release management.
